Which app should I use to schedule appointments with clients?

Use an app that publishes your real hours and lets clients book without messaging you, such as AionClock: the slots they see come from your calendar, two clients can't take the same one, reminders go out on their own and you log walk-ins by hand. It costs nothing during launch.

What the app must do, no exceptions

  1. Show only real time slots. The times your client sees have to come from your whole calendar, with the time between appointments already taken out. On AionClock, an appointment for another of your services also blocks that time.
  2. Prevent double bookings. If two clients pick the same time at once, only one booking should go through. We explain it in how to avoid double bookings.
  3. Send reminders for you. AionClock reminds your client 24 h and 1 h before by push notification and by email, and also by WhatsApp if they turn it on.
  4. Let you decide who gets in. For each service you choose between accepting bookings automatically or approving them one by one.
  5. Count walk-ins. Those visits are logged by hand and count in your revenue and your metrics.

What depends on your business

  • If you work on location: set a radius in kilometres for each service; anything outside doesn’t come in, or goes to manual approval.
  • If you have a team: with the Company module you invite each professional, decide which service each person covers and see the whole schedule on the web.
  • If you have clients in another country: your calendar lives in your timezone, wherever they book from.

How your clients book you

A fact you can check

On AionClock the time slots your client sees and the ones you see are calculated by the same engine, over your whole calendar: there is no public view that can drift from your real appointments.

Frequently asked questions

How much does AionClock cost for a professional?

Nothing during launch: you publish your services and use the full calendar without paying. Getting paid for your services is still up to you, because AionClock doesn't process payments.

Can I approve each booking before it is confirmed?

Yes. Turn off auto-accept on the service and every booking reaches you as pending until you accept it. You can also mark a service as not bookable online.

Does it work if I work alone?

Yes. With a single account you take bookings from your clients and also book with other professionals. The Company module is optional: you only need it to coordinate a team.
